Mid October Changes to our house...

Here is our back yard when we bought the house.

We didn't know that rain water

Didn't drain from our yard. It was all clay so it just sat in the

yard and made it all muddy from Oct. to May.

So when we decided to remodel we also decided to

fix the yard so we could plant trees in the back and have a garden.

for all the water to drain into.

Here is what the back of our house looked like when we bought it.

Here is what it looks like today, although the siding is all the way on.

So we started building the rooms in our basement.
We have changed our family room
and made three rooms. What you see here is what will be the shop
and laundry room. The two white doors open up into our garage.
They replace what was a sliding glass door and a large window.

Here is looking down our hall way with in the basement from one end
of the house to the other. I am standing in the shop and the
opening on the left goes into our new laudry room and
the framing on the right is the wall for a new bedroom.

We will be excited when it is all done!

October house updates

Ok well alot of October has been boring...

But the last week has been much more exciting for Eric and I.

We got a new front door...

And the siding is almost finished...

And I painted most of the front. I will finish today!

We feel like we have a brand new house! We love it.

Running out of time!

Well here is the newest addition to our remodel.

A friend told me I was not remodeling but "rebuilding" I feel that this

is ultimately true. Chad has not been home in 10 months

and doesn't recognize his home anymore.

We have added a covered porch on the front of the house.

It really has transformed the look of our home.

Chloe is standing on her own now... She is very close to walking.

She cut her top teeth tonight boy was she unhappy about it.

Amy, Chloe, Chelsey and I went to visit my mom after her brain surgery.

Eric and Blake went to a Washington state Scout jamboree

for 4 days with no showers. They smelled very stale

on our drive home.

Well... we are running out of time to get those last minute things done...
I am leaving wednesday 6 am for Orlando Florida 2 days
at Disneyworld and a 7 day cruise to the Carribean.
